About Marty
Marty McKoy is a Country Singer/songwriter from Sandy Run, South Carolina. He comes from a family of musicians, starting with his Grandfather, Bill McKoy. Growing up listening to his family play and write music, Marty quickly gravitated toward creating his own. Drawing inspiration from his father, Randy McKoy, Marty learned to play multiple instruments, sing, and write music. Marty enjoys writing and performing music he can relate to; his songs tell a story directly related to this small-town boy's life. His first single, "If They Ever Wrote Another Bible," was inspired by his wife as well as a few other songs on his album "Lucky Break." When you can't find Marty in the studio recording or writing new music, you can find him on the water fishing, or in the woods hunting. Marty attributes his success to God, his family, and close friends.
